The Library offers Lithgow cardholders several museum + park passes in the greater Augusta area and around State of Maine. Browse the list below, and check their websites for current hours and details.

The Children’s Museum + Theater of Maine
The Children’s Museum pass is good for free admission for up-to-6 people. Note: In addition to the Library paper pass, visitors need to reserve a specific time slot on the museum website. Check their website for current hours & details.
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens
The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens pass is good for free admission for 2 adults & accompanying children. Note: Tickets are for specific times (every half-hour from 9 am – 3 pm.) After reserving your pass online, you must phone the Library (207.626.2415) for staff to process your timed ticket. Please plan a few days ahead for your visit so your timed ticket is ready for pickup at the Lithgow Circulation Desk. Check their website for current hours & details.
The Farnsworth Art Museum pass is good for free admission for 1 adult & accompanying children or grandchildren. Up to 2 passes may be borrowed for couples/friends who want to go together.

The Maine State Park pass is for a 7-day checkout, with no renewal. The pass is available first come, first served, with no advanced reservations. This vehicle pass includes all occupants up to a 17-passengers for day-use access; it does not include camping. The pass is not valid at the following locations: Acadia National Park, Allagash Wilderness Waterway, Baxter State Park, Maine Wildlife Park, Swan Island, Penobscot Narrows Observatory, Penobscot river Corridor, Peacock Beach, or Scarborough Beach. The Maine State Park Pass is for day-use only & does not include camping. Library users are limited to borrowing the pass once per month. (Overdue fines are $1/day. If the pass is lost or not returned after 7 days there is a $105 replacement cost.)
Patrons must book an appointment on the Maine Wildlife Park website for the same day the pass is issued. Each member of the group (3-years-old and up) will be charged a $3.50 admission fee when they present this Community Pass at the park gatehouse. Check their website for current hours and details.
